Anytime you use the rich-text editor in Canvas, you may embed Kaltura Media. This article outlines how to embed Kaltura Media when replying to a discussion in Canvas.
To embed Kaltura Media in a discussion reply
Step 1: Reply to Canvas Discussion
- Open the appropriate discussion assignment
- Click the Reply button to begin editing your discussion response
Step 2: Embed Kaltura Media
- Once the rich-text editor displays, select the Embed Kaltura Media button from the toolbar
- From the Embed Kaltura Media Window you may select to Upload Media previously saved to your device, Add from Library and then select media previously saved to your Kaltura My Media, or Record from Webcam
- Once you have selected or created the media you wish to embed, click Embed
- Click the Post Reply button
